We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects. This role is essential to ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering superior results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise On-Site Operations: Lead and coordinate all construction activities, including scheduling, sequencing, and quality control.
  • Manage Teams and Resources: Oversee construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Enforce Standards and Safety: Interpret and enforce construction plans, specifications, and safety regulations to maintain high standards of quality and safety on-site.
  • Conduct Inspections: Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager: Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and update project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to address concerns and provide project updates.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
  • Procurement Oversight: Manage and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and tools necessary for construction activities.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and training to construction crews to promote teamwork, productivity, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within residential construction (+5 years).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage construction crews effectively.
  • Proficient in reading construction plans, blueprints, and specifications. 
  • Familiarity with construction project management software, BuilderTrend or CoConstruct.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to construction activities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Dedication to quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction in all aspects of construction projects.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Competitive salary of $60,000 - $75,000 based on experience.
